"Burns, it's what's for dinner"

This is a smidge late, but my wonderful hubby took me to Burns Steakhouse for dinner Sunday night. For those of you who do not know about this a-m-a-z-i-n-g restaurant, let me tell you a little about it. For the steak connoisseurs out there, this is the #2 steakhouse in the nation. And we have the priviledge of living right near it! :) It's a bit on the pricey side, but it is worth every bit! The steaks melt in your mouth and they have the most scrumptous french onion soup on the planet!! OH! The best part is their desserts! Oh my heavens....it really is a piece of heaven. I had the "Chocolate Cheese Pie" and Austin had the "Peach Melba". SOOOOO GOOD! As for the decor, you feel like your in an old 18th century haunted house. It has really dim lighting and profile statues everywhere...I compare the decor to that of the Haunted Mansion at Disney. It's awesome! So, yeah, my hubby took me and it was as good (if not better) as the last time. It is not your ordinary restaurant, if you are ever in Tampa, you have to go to Burns!!

I was tagged! So here goes.....
this is my lovely Coach...got it for my last birthday, from the outlets for a whopping $150.00...but it is worth every penny because it fits everything I need perfectly and ofcourse, it's gorgeous!! :)

let's see, I pride myself on being very organized with the contents of my purse. I always have a purse-sized planner, a wallet (I tend to trade those out as much as I do my purses!), my Vera makeup bag with a few lipgloss options, and my keys. Oh, and today was special because I stopped by Walgreens to buy my FAV V-day candy...Strawberry Cream chocolate hearts! Yum!!


And once again, I do not believe I have enough "readers" to tag...but feel free to do it, it's pretty fun to see what people carry in their purses!

Yes, the hubby is out of town overnight. Sigh, what other way to spend a lovely Saturday than to pamper myself?!? :)

1. I LOVE LOVE LOVE lipgloss. I have a basket FULL of makeup, and it's not getting any smaller...
2. I never leave the house un-accessorized. I ALWAYS have on earrings, a necklace, and one "big" ring on my right hand
3. I must have a fan on when I go to sleep, if I don't, I'll be up ALL night. No lie.
4. I have a small group of close friends, and I like it that way
5. My husband and I act like kids when we're alone
6. I am a music junkie! I can spend HOURS on iTunes
7. I hate the gym. (even though I am trying to go on a consistant basis, yuck)
8. I could eat cereal for every meal, if I was allowed. (I tend to do this when Austin is out of town heehee)
9. My worst fear is losing my teeth. Crazy I know, but I have nightmares about it!!
10. I am addicted to Dr. Pepper and Cherry Coke. No matter what I do, I can't stop drinking it!!

...On the road AGAIN

Last week it was Dallas, this week it's New Jersey/New York, next week Orlando.I'll tell you one thing, my husband is going to know airports across the nation, like the back of his hand by the time these next few weeks are over! Sheesh! Traveling is at an all-time high for him right now. Neither of us love that...at ALL. BUT, when I feel myself wanting to pout, I remind myself to be thankful that he HAS a job. So, thank you Jesus for Austin's job!(Just please bring him home, sooner than later ;)).

The weather outside was YUCK-EEE today, rained all day. I did get to use my new, super-cute-Vera Bradley-look-a-like umbrella though :) It is one of my Target bargains...it was originally $16, I bought it for, wait for it....$3!!! I amaze myself sometimes at the items I come across....it is like, they are put on that shelf, just for me. (insert heavenly tune here) ::Sigh:: I ♥ Target!!

Time for another pedi...although I have done what I can to keep them looking their ultimate french-ie best, (i.e.- wearing open toed shoes in freezing weather!) they have chipped. Not to mention, somehow I managed to break one, so now I have one little toe that has NO pretty white line, and is WAY smaller than all the others...the outcast. I must fix that pronto !!

Tomorrow looks like another uneventful day for me. Oh wait, I get to go to the eye doctor!! Whoopie doodles! (sarcasm) Then the dentist on Wednesday, gosh, don't you all wish you were me?!? lol.

Welp, it is some sorta late, I must make myself sleep, work awaits me in the morn!
