This Sunday is a very special day. We celebrate our Jesus' ressurection! Our little family is headed to Orlando to spend Easter with my family.

Needed a little somethin'

My hair that is. As an "almost hairdresser" I am constantly getting bored with my hair. A few months ago I went "dark"-


Now that Spring is here, it's time for a little bit of blonde. I think this was just what it needed-

Whirlwind

That sums up my weekend. Friday was Austin's birthday. His parents and brother came and stayed the weekend with us to celebrate. We had a great time! We spent Saturday in Orlando. We went to the outlets and went to my FAVORITE store, Ikea. I could stay in that store ALL DAY! lol. We met up with my family for dinner and then headed back to Tampa. Whew!

I got the "design bug" when we were at Ikea, and this is what happened:


Truth be told, I've had this idea in my head for AWHILE, I just haven't done anything about it. Obviously it isn't finished, there will be some candles and random little knick-nacks arranged as well, but you get the idea!

Slacker

Yes, that is me. For some reason, it's getting harder and harder to post. lol.

I cannot believe it's the middle of March already!!! (????) Where does time go?? Anyways, this weekend was a great one. My Mom and I went to an Extraordinary Women Conference at my church, Friday and Saturday. It was awesome! All of the speakers were amazing. The best part.....if you are a Fullhouse fan, such as I, Candace Cameron-Bure (aka DJ Tanner) was there! You better believe girlfriend got a picture with her AND her autograph!


She had one of the sweetest testimonies too. Mom and I spent the rest of the weekend just enjoying "girl time". She is NEVER away from "mom duties" so it was like a mini-vacation for her. Meanwhile, Austin was in Savannah having "guy time" at the Rattlesnake Round-Up! (Can I get a "yee-haw"??) Yeesh, I cannot believe it will be Monday, already. Boo. One reason that I am looking forward to this week- Austin is home ALL week!! :) Yay!

Sorry this is such a short entry, especially when I haven't made one in SO long....but laundry and dishes are calling my name!!!
