Mommy Advice
Yet again, We Peyton is deciding to take the more difficult route. The issue this time....baby food. She took to eating right off the bat. Whatever I gave her, she ate, even if she made a face. I should have known it wouldn't stay that way. Now, she has learned that if she doesn't like it, she can clamp her little mouth closed and keep it that way. She's even learned to fuss without opening it! (Little smarty pants) I don't want to force feed her because I don't want the "eating process" to have a negative association attached to it. I'm trying not to stress about it too much because I know her source of nutrients is from nursing, so atleast I don't have to worry about that. I've read that many babies just don't and won't ever care for "baby food" and once they can chew, just skip straight to "people food". I've also read that every baby is different and to keep trying and eventually they'll come around on their own time. I've been told to try blending whatever it is that Austin and I eat. Anyone have any advice? Is your little one a picky eater? What did you do to help the situation?

Why not!?!
****Also, I wanted to add that I can customize. I will do my best to create whatever it is that you would like :)****
I've been making several headbands and other crafty things lately (as seen in a post below) and posting pics of them on my Facebook just to see what kind of feedback I get. To my pleasant surprise, I've had several offers from friends that wanted to purchase some. After some debating on whether or not to make them to sell, I decided, why not!?! I'm going to start out slow and see how it goes. I don't want to spend a lot of money and end up with a bunch of items no one buys, so I'm going to make them as people want them. I have fun coming up with different styles and I like to wear them myself as well as make them for Peyton, so really at this point it's a win-win for me. Also I think it's kind of cool that people like what I've done and that they want to wear them :) So in the meantime, I'll create until my little heart’s content (and whenever Peyton allows me time ;)) and put it out there forthe world my friends to see and see what happens!
Wish me luck!! :)
I will leave you with some of my creations...

Growing like a weed
Miss Peyton had her 6 month check up today and it went wonderfully. She received two shots and was such a big girl about them (always has been too!). Her doctor said she's looking great! Here are her stats:
Weight: 15 lbs. 13 oz. (44%tile, was 34% at 4 mo.)
Length: 27 in. (87%tile, was 92% at 4 mo.)
One downer is now that Dad is going through chemo, when Peyton gets her shots, she can't be around him for SIX WEEKS! :/ So, Skype will have to do for the time being. Better for Dad not to get sick though!!
The next time she goes in will be for her NINE month visit, holy cow!! Time's flying....
