Discovery Cove

My family and Austin and I went to Discovery Cove earlier this month. The tickets are a *little* costly, but they are SOOO worth it!! We got to the resort a little after 8 in the morning and didn't leave until 5. They have a lazy river that goes through an atrium where you can feed some pretty awesome birds, a man-made coral reef where you can snorkle with some huge manta rays/stingrays and crazy fish, and then of course you have the dolphins. You spend about 30 minutes with "your" dolphin. Ours was named Diego :) The trainer showed us how to teach him a few tricks, we got to pet him/kiss him, and then we got to....RIDE HIM!!! It was the coolest thing EVER! I would recommend Discovery Cove to anyone....it was an amazing experience!! Here are a few pictures from the day:

One Word:

Busy.

That is the perfect word to describe Austin and I's life lately in general.

Austin's brother graduated from FSU last weekend, so this weekend we have his graduation party, in Jacksonville. Congrats John!! :)

A year ago this weekend, my mom and some of her friends decided that they wanted to do a mini triathalon at Disney. So, for the past year, my mom and her friends have been hard core training for this weekend's events!! We are all SOOOO proud of her!! (I take after my mom, in that I HATE anything to do with any type excerise or anything that makes you sweat, lol, so this is a HUGE deal! :))

We left for Jax last night, John's bbq is this evening, we leave for Orlando TONIGHT, and then up early Sunday morning to head to Disney's Wilderness Lodge for my Mom's tri!! Within two days we will be in TWO different cities...::whew!!::

It's all worth it though :)

Fun Times and ER visits

Weekends pass by SOOO MUCH faster than normal when you have company! Austin and I had such a great time with Jenn and Hal :) (As usual!)

Our time together however, started off a little rocky. They got to our house Friday night and Hal's ear had been bothering him. By 2am Saturday morning, it was so unbearable, he and Jenn payed a visit to the ER here. So two hours and a severe middle ear infection later...they were back and we all got back to bed!! Saturday the boys were supposed to go golfing, but Hal's ear was still bothering him....not to mention the medicine they had him on had him "floating on Tinkerbells" lol. Needless to say, they did NOT go golfing. But Jenn and I DID get pedicures and go shopping for cutie outfits for baby Halle!! :) Ahhh, there's nothing like the combination of pretty toes and spending money to make a girl feel good! ;) Meanwhile Austin and Hal napped the afternoon away.

That night we all dressed up a bit and went to Kobes Japenese Steakhouse for dinner. YUM! We all ate way more than our stomach's could hold, but oh was it SOOO good! Afterwards, we decided to keep the party going and headed to the movies and saw Obsessed. Beyonce' kicked some booty in that one! The boys just LOVED that movie, lol. We stayed out until we couldn't keep our eyes open....which was around 10:00. (Hey, that's late for us! lol)

This morning, we had brunch at good 'ol Cracker Barrell and then sent Jenn and Hal on their way :(

This weekend was fulfilling in every way!! Next time, it's our turn to stay at Hotel Keene!! :)

It has been TOO long AND, she and her hubby just found out they are going to be parents of a beautiful baby GIRL!!! YAY! I'm gonna have a niece ;)
