Big Girl Bed

Two weekends ago, Austin and I spur-of-the-moment decided we would go ahead and move Peyton into a "big girl" bed. (Her crib converts into a toddler bed and then into a full) We had been going back and forth with what we wanted to do. It came down to either getting rid of the full bed we had in the office (soon to be Parker's room) or go ahead and convert Peyton's bed. It made the most sense to keep the mattress, that way when we have overnight visitors...we can have an actual bed for them to sleep on. So Austin got to work. I had no time to enjoy the night's before bedtime routine...not knowing it would be the last time I would put Peyton to bed in her crib :( Who knew I would get so attached to that idea??? (Not me) [Since finding out we were having a boy, I think it's made me more sentimental of every milestone of Peyton's. Because the next time I experience that milestone...it will be with a little boy. Does that make any sense to anyone??] And back to my story :p Austin got the bed put together and I kept talking up her new "big bed" to Peyton. She could have cared less about it, lol. I was really dreading bed time that night. I just expected it to be a nightmare....as well as however many nights to follow. (No new thing ever seems to go well with Peyton) However, I'm happy to say it's gone extremely well. The only complaint I have is that she gets up alot earlier now :/ (used to sleep until 7:30-8, now gets up at 6:30-7) I think it has to do with that fact that she can get out herself now. Oh well, I don't think that's too bad considering :)

Momma's Day 2012

Such an awesome Mother's Day :) We didn't really do anything out of the ordinary but Austin and Peyton made sure I knew how much I was loved and appreciated. We went to church, out to eat at Al's Pizza for lunch,  and then wondered around an antique mall for part of the afternoon. I can't believe this was my THIRD Mother's Day! (Technically my fourth...2009 I was barely pregnant but didn't know it yet) And that this was my last one as a mother of ONE! I am seriously blessed and so thankful for everything God has given me.

Here are the past two years of Mother's Days....
