3 months!!
My baby is THREE months old today!!! Ahhh! What is she up to...
*She now weighs 11 lbs. 11 oz. (as of 4/26/10)
*Talks ALL THE TIME!! She LOVES to talk to her toys and to her Mommy :)
*She can grab at her toys! Her hand/eye coordination still is not perfect, but man, if she wants something, she makes it happen!
*Is such a happy baby! She smiles at you and makes happy squeals
*Is a wiggle worm! If I lay her down, she'll end up head down from where she started. She also rolls over alot better now.
*She has a "blankie" that she's attached to. It is SO cute! It really does the trick if she's fighting sleep...I just lay it by the side of her face and she holds it b/w her little hands and is out like a light!
*Once again, is truely a Mommy's girl (atleast for now). If I'm not holding her, she is constantly searching for me to make sure I'm near :)
Peyton had a doctor's appt. yesterday for the rest of her "2 mo." shots and she did SO good! She only started to fuss on the last shot! I was very proud of her :) Our next appt. is in about 5 weeks, which will be her 4 month check up and she'll get more shots....whoo hoo :/
We are headed to Orlando this weekend. We're getting "family pictures" taken. I've been constantly stressing over what we should wear. Just when I think I have an idea, I change my mind. Oh well, they're going to turn out great!! I'm just praying that Peyton is in a good mood :)

::SAHM:: & 2 mth. check up
Yep, that's me! As of Friday, my new job is full time MOMMY :)
For most of my maternity leave, it was heavily looking like I would have to return to work. Boo. I was really bummed about it. Austin and I both felt like it was best that I be home with our daughter. But what we wanted and what the budget looked like did not line up. I mean, I guess we need a house and electricity...lol. All I can say is, our prayers were answered and God made it possible. I couldn't be happier, it's truly an answer to prayer!!!
Now my goals are: 1.) to get a good daily routine going and 2.) to work on getting Miss Priss sleeping in her own bed. (Yes, she's been sleeping in our bed.....not a good decision, I know, but at the beginning it was the ONLY way she would sleep! You do what ya gotta do!!) Pray for this transition, as it will NOT be easy. My first attempt was last night, and it did not go well. She only cried for about 40 minutes, but stayed awake for about two hours! It was almost midnight and I could not go to sleep until I knew she was asleep, so I ended up going in to get her. And would you believe as soon as I layed that booger in our bed, she was out! Ughhh....very stubborn and strong-willed!
Friday we had her 2 month checkup/shots. (She was actually 2 1/2 mths. by the time of the appt) She now weighs 10 lbs. 7 oz. and is 24 inches long. She was scheduled to get 5 shots and the roto virus by mouth, but I was nervous about her getting so many vaccines at one time, being so small, so the doctor split them up and she rec'vd three. (We go back this Friday for the others) Her doctor was very happy with her stats and development, so that made ME happy :)
Still cannot believe how fast she's growing. I'm soaking in every second!

Easter 2010
This year, we went to Austin's family's for Easter. The three and a half hour drive there had us nervous but Peyton slept for most of the way there and the WHOLE way home! Whoohoo! We had a great time visiting with everyone and were glad they could see Peyton. Here are some pics from the weekend....
